My Cancer story
How it changed everything...
In 2015, my life shifted in a way I never expected. After losing two friends to cancer earlier that year, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 48. I believed I was doing “enough” to stay healthy, but that diagnosis forced me to slow down and take a deeper look at how I was really living.
That moment became a wake-up call. Not just about illness, but about food, habits, stress, family, and the long-term choices I had been overlooking. What followed wasn’t about trends or quick fixes, it was about asking real questions and taking responsibility for my health.

The Turning Point
After my diagnosis, I began researching what I was putting into my body and how it was affecting my overall health. I started paying closer attention to food, ingredients, and daily habits I had previously taken for granted.
This shift led me toward cleaner eating, juicing, and learning how herbs had been used traditionally to support the body. I wasn’t searching for a miracle, I was looking for consistency, intention, and something I could actually sustain.
That search changed everything.

Why Black Seed Oil Became the Flagship
During this period, I was introduced to black seed oil. What stood out wasn’t hype or marketing, it was seeing how there is alternative approach to health that actually works. Black seed oil became essential to my daily routine. I used it consistently, alongside real food and lifestyle changes, and it became one of the most foundational parts of my personal practice.
Over time, black seed oil wasn’t just something I used, it became something I trusted. That’s why, when Good Living Now was created, it naturally became our flagship product. Not because it was popular, but because it was proven in real life, long before it was ever sold.

A Lesson That Changed Everything
This journey revealed that health is shaped by more than what we eat. Years earlier, I experienced success, loss, and deep stress. Those lessons connected later in ways I couldn’t ignore. This video shares that story and why sometimes the lesson only makes sense looking back.

Over a decade later
I've learned your health is in your hands...
I was astounded that doctors receive little to no education in association with nutrition, while in medical school. But now it all makes sense why doctors are more inclined to write a prescription for an ailment, rather than addressing the root cause through dietary changes. Since my cancer diagnosis, I have been endeavoring to study and explore all the conceivable approaches to fueling my body. My goal is to do my best to take part in my health through proper nutrition and herbal supplements, and hopefully encourage others to do the same.
